I've been absent from here lately (or anywhere on the internet, for that matter), and I gotta say, I don't seem to miss dA. I thought I might go into withdrawal after a few hours, but apparently, I've handled it just fine.

I was relatively homeless for a while, but I've rented out a room near my university residences and have been living there since four days ago. I don't like the implications that I've been homeless and/or run away from my current spouse more times than I've been homeless and/or run away when I was with my father. I didn’t think it's possible that a pedophile could have given me less reason to run away than someone I willingly married. But hey, you learn new things everyday.

My 8 room-mates are all male (this may be self-defeating, as the more days I spend on earth, the more I realize I can't seem to get along with other human males). I'm not friendly with 1 of them, and that's only because he walks around flicking his wrists all over the place despite being a card-carrying hetero. 2 of them have a fetish for obese women; another thinks he's destined to marry Lucy Thai; there's one dude I haven't met because in the four days I've been here, he hasn't seemed to come out of his room (the house owner informed me not to worry and that he's not dead. Apparently, he's only working on his PhD in computer science). The last three are "relatively" normal--but you never know. Honestly, it's the only place I could get on such short notice.

I miss my old next door dogs. Even the annoying Bichon Frise I had long plotted to run over with my car. :<
